I may not have threatened the front runners or even the middle field runners with my presence at the Chilterns 50km Challenge but for once I felt strong throughout a race and walked, well hobbled away, from the finish feeling happy, confident and rejuvenated. When things have gone well I do like a good statistic, and as I said the front runners may have already been home, washed and had a late lunch by the time I gave my Kenyan finish over the line, but for me these are pretty good….and I am especially chuffed with the last one!
