Organising charity walking events for charitable organisations such as Florence Nightingale Hospice Trust, NHS Amersham Scan Appeal, Royal Surrey Hospital Cancer Ward and Humanity Direct, have been some of the most fun and satisfying events we have organised.

We organise single day or multiday walking events that the charities will sell to their fundraisers, like the ones below. Walkers will pay an entry fee and fundraise for the charity. The events are either self guided following our markings or for the bigger events, walkers are sent off in guided groups.

In every case that we have been involved in so far the fundraising target has been exceeded.

You don’t need to be an ultra runner to take part, just someone who wants to take on a great challenge for a great cause.

As with all our events, all the walkers have to do is put one foot in front of the other - we will do the rest.

Please take a look at the events below that you may want to enter, or if you are a charity you may want to consider talking to us about organising an event for you.

Stride for Cancer Care

Distance 5, 10, 15 or 25km

Location Guildford

Stride for Cancer Care

St Luke’s Cancer Ward from Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford approached XNRG to organise a charity walking event for them in 2022. We created 3 loops - a 10km, 15km, and the option to do both loops for 25kms - walking around the North Downs and Hogs Back area of Surrey. The event started and finished at Surrey Sports Centre right next to the hospital. XNRG designed the route, got all the permissions, planned the logistics, the safety, the route marking, the medical cover and much more.

In 2022 they raised nearly £25k for the charity.
In 2023 they asked us to organise it again and add in a 5km loop for those less able. The event was a huge success raising over £60,000 for the charity.

We are now in our 5th year of organising this event, and it has now become the charity's flagship fundraising event. The event has helped them to raise over £80,000 in each of the last two years.
