A city firm wanted to organise a corporate charity event for their staff and clients. They approached XNRG and we suggested a London to Brighton cycle sportive from their London offices in Holborn to the Brighton seafront.
Event Outline
Route
London Holborn to Brighton Pier, following the classic London to Brighton route which covers 63 miles (with 1000m of ascent!)
Pre event
- Entry system provided, including a charity donations portal
- Regular communication with the company on their requirements, the number of entrants, and any logistics
- Training plans made available for all participants
- Optional training rides offered
- Full and detailed briefing sent to all participants before the event so they knew what to expect.
The Day
- Hearty breakfast on arrival
- All bikes fully checked by our technicians
- Branded cycle t-shirts, a puncture repair kit, and a small first aid kit provided for each participant
- Full event briefing by our Event Director and professional cycle guides
- Group starts, led by our experienced guides
- Technical and medical support throughout the event
- Two food stations (at 23 and 47 miles) to keep participants well-fuelled
- Spectacular arrival at Brighton Pier
- Showers and changing facilities provided in the Lanes Spa
- Celebratory BBQ and drinks to finish the day
- Charity raffle and auction (run by our auction master)
