Energy are delighted to announce the dates for the “Pilgrim Challenge”
2012. A multistage race along the North Downs National Trail, the oldest
trade route in England and route used by Pilgrims for Winchester,
Canterbury, Dover & the Continent. The route follows the North Downs Way
from Farnham in Surrey through to Merstham in Surrey.
The event will suit
those who want a new challenge, people looking for an alternative to
running marathons, those training for events like the Marathon Des
Sables or Ultra Trail De Mont Blanc or anyone who loves seeing the
beautiful English countryside.
This event gains you 2 points towards
the points needed for UTMB qualifying.

Cost Options:
Entry
for both full days is £120 per head with the option of entering one day
only at £48 per head.
Optional overnight accommodation is £24 per head.
Accommodation:
St Nicholas School, Merstham, Redhill, Surrey, RH13 PU. Sleeping will be
in a Large Hall & Gym Area
Facilities:
Showers, sleeping area, rest area and
restaurant area, with large TV screen (for the rugby if it is on)
Food:
All food will be provided for Saturday evening and Sunday morning. There
will also be water and some food available at each checkpoint (please do
not rely on checkpoint food as your only fuel, this should be viewed as
additional to the fuel you carry yourself.)
