Pilgrim Challenge (2nd-3rd February): a two-day, 66-mile ultra marathon over the legendary North Downs Way - now in its 10th year!
Run, jog or walk your way across the impressive North Downs Way - firmly established as one of our most popular events. Follow in the footsteps of pilgrims travelling to Canterbury as you pass through stunning landscapes steeped in history. It's going to be a special year - come and celebrate our 10th anniversary with us.
The race soaks up ancient countryside, picturesque villages and areas of outstanding natural beauty. As with all of our events, everything is taken care of at the Pilgrim Challenge so you can focus on the experience! Overnight accommodation, evening meals, showers, breakfast, food and drink at checkpoints, free parking, and even inspiring guest speakers in the evenings are all included.
Detailed information about all elements of the Pilgrim Challenge can be found in our event instructions.
Amazing evening speakers
Hear from the brightest and the best from the world of ultra running with our programme of evening speakers. This year, we're pleased to welcome Steve Diederich - the UK organiser of the Marathon Des Sables - and our very own Susie Chan.
As well as the MDS, Steve Diederich is responsible for a host of multi-days, including the famous Coastal Marathon in Costa Rica. He'll be speaking on 'What on earth are you thinking' - a guide to survival, success and fun on a multi-day ultra.
Susie Chan, one of our XNRG coaches, has competed in some of the toughest ultras and endurance races on the planet, including the MDS. She regularly talks about her experiences, appearing on television and radio, and contributing to fitness podcasts and magazines. She'll be speaking about 'Myths and realities: what to expect at the Marathon Des Sables'.
You can enter the whole weekend event including food and accommodation, or individual days.
